Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment Antique Show and Genealogy Fair set for June 3rd
Pittsfield, IL April 19, 2016: The Lincoln Days Reenactment Antique Show and Genealogy Fair, sponsored by the Abe Lincoln Project of Pike County/Looking for Lincoln Community Working Group, will be held Friday, June 3rd
and Saturday, June 4th
at the Crossroads Center in Pittsfield. It is being held in conjunction with the 15th
Annual Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment being held on Saturday, June 4th
and Sunday, June 5th
at Lake Pittsfield. This multifaceted event has become an annual event, funded in part by a grant from the Pike County Accommodations Tax Project Funding Board.
The indoor Antique Show will feature gathering of Early American through mid-1900’s
antiques. The event will also offer an antique appraisal fair by area appraisers. Both the Antique Show and the Genealogy Fair will be held at the Crossroads Center at 125 W. Jefferson from 9 AM until 4 PM on Friday and Saturday, June 3
and 4, 2016.
Dealer space at the Antique Show is available. Each space is 15’x 20’and booth rental is $75.00 before May 6th, $100 after May 6th. Wi-Fi is available. Dealers are asked to RSVP by May 6 to Jill Collard at 217-285-4890.
The Genealogy fair will include scheduled presentations by genealogists as well as research assistance to help
attendees discover their family’s lineage and potential journey through historic Pike County, IL. A form is
available that can be completed in advance of the event to aid in the research. Individuals requiring access to
Pike County government offices for research (County Clerk, Circuit Clerk) are urged to attend the Genealogy
Fair on Friday when these offices will be open. Genealogy and Genealogy Fair questions can be directed to

The 15th Annual Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment, held at Lake Pittsfield on Saturday and Sunday will
include Confederate & Union battle reenactments, medical units, encampments, & period demonstrations. This
year’s event will also have the "Iron Clad" and "Hunley" war vessels. Show exhibitors are invited to attend an
onsite re-enactors swap meet on Saturday evening at the Lake.
